THE DOG AGILITY ASSOCIATION OF THE OZARKS
The Dog Agility Association of the Ozarks (DAAO) is an AKC-licensed agility club serving the Springfield, Missouri area.
Founded in 2012 by a small group of experienced agility enthusiasts, DAAO has grown to more than 60 members. Collectively, our members and their dogs have earned 10 AGCH titles and more than 180 MACH and PACH titles.
Additionally, we usually have about 25 teams that qualify each year to attend the AKC National Agility Championship
Many of our members began with little or no agility experience and have gone on to become successful competitive teams — proving that everyone has to start somewhere!
DAAO hosts three weekends of AKC agility trials each year, along with seminars, practices and other opportunities to train and enjoy the sport.
We welcome new members with dogs of all ages, sizes and breeds. Whether your goal is to compete at the highest levels or simply have fun learning something new with your dog, we invite you to come join us!
Agility is a growing dog sport in the United States, with over 1 million entries to the AKC’s program each year. Dogs race against a clock as they navigate an obstacle course with strong concentration and speed. Whether you just want to have fun exercising with your dog, or want to go further and enter an Agility competition, get ready for a fast-paced, rewarding experience that will get you and your dog in the best shape of your lives!
